One of our favorite challenges is redesigning a space to better suit a client's needs.  This home had a very small (in comparison to the home's size) and poorly placed kitchen​.  It lacked counter space and the placement of the kitchen made it almost like a walkway to other rooms in the home, imposing on the flow of the entire first floor.  By moving the kitchen to the nearby den, we not only enhanced the flow of the home, but also created a show-stopping kitchen.  We added beams to the already high ceilings in the room, adjusted the size of the window over the sink, and finished off the kitchen with all the bells and whistles. 

We repurposed the old kitchen space to include pantry cabinets and a desk on one side and a daybed with storage on the other side, creating a clear walkway to the garage and rest of the home and a solution to the family's need to have a play space near the kitchen for their young children.

This was all part of a whole house remodel which included new paint throughout, new cabinetry, light fixtures and hardware, remodeled bathrooms and refinished hardwood floors.  The end results are incredible.
